An epic journey along Western Australia’s wild and wonderful coast—from orcas to whale sharks, ancient forests to world-class wineries.
This 12-day adventure explores the very best of Western Australia’s biodiversity and beauty. You’ll go offshore in search of orcas in Bremer Canyon, wander through towering karri forests, sip your way through the Margaret River wine region, and snorkel beside whale sharks in the crystal-clear waters of Ningaloo Reef. Along the way, expect dramatic coastlines, rare wildlife sightings, immersive walks with local guides, and a perfect balance of wild exploration and coastal indulgence.
Your 12 day Australia West Coast adventure starts and ends in Perth. We’ll explore from Perth to Albany to Bremer Bay to Pemberton, to Margaret River and Exmouth!
Domestic flights: one way Perth to Albany, RT Perth to Exmouth are not included but we will help you book and advise you on which flight to book so we can all fly together!

Day 1
ARRIVE IN PERTH – FLY TO BREMER BAY
Fly from Perth to Albany, then enjoy a scenic drive through the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges with stops for panoramic views, wildflowers, and wildlife. Continue on to Bremer Bay, where white-sand beaches meet coastal heathlands teeming with kangaroos, emus, and native birds.
Day 2
BREMER BAY
Head offshore for a full-day expedition to spot orcas in the Bremer Canyon, one of the best places in the world to see them in the wild. You may also encounter blue and sperm whales, albatrosses, shearwaters, and other incredible seabirds far off the Continental Shelf.
Day 3
BREMER BAY/ALBANY
Drive from Bremer Bay to Albany along Western Australia’s spectacular southern coastline, with stops for sweeping beach views and dramatic cliffs. Visit Fitzgerald River and Torndirrup National Parks, known for their wildflowers, granite formations, and unique wildlife.
Day 4
ALBANY TO PEMBERTON
This morning, walk high among the tingle trees on the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk or take the forest floor loop, then explore Walpole-Nornalup’s towering trees and native birds. After lunch, visit Coalmine Knolls before heading to Pemberton.
Day 5
PEMBERTON TO MARGARET RIVER
Travel from Pemberton to Margaret River through towering forests, waterfalls, and charming country towns. Climb giant trees, explore scenic trails, and enjoy tastings at boutique wineries and chocolatiers along the way.
Day 6
MARGARET RIVER
Shift gears from wildlife to wine as you dive into the world-renowned flavors of the Margaret River region. Enjoy tastings at local wineries, meet passionate producers, and soak in the relaxed vineyard vibes.
Day 7
MARGARET RIVER
Explore the stunning landscapes surrounding Margaret River, including Hamlin Bay Beach, the towering trees of Boranup Forest, and the iconic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Take in the dramatic coastal scenery and enjoy more opportunities to unwind and connect with nature.
Day 8
PERTH TO EXMOUTH
Travel back to Perth airport and directly onto a lunchtime flight to Exmouth. On arrival, meet your local guides and transfer to your accommodation for an afternoon briefing ahead of a group dinner.
Day 9
MUIRON ISLANDS – WORLD HERITAGE AREA
Head out by boat to the remote Muiron Islands, surrounded by coral reefs teeming with marine life like leopard sharks, manta rays, and possibly even a dugong. Snorkel, swim, or observe as we explore this World Heritage Area while contributing to valuable citizen science.
Day 10
CAPE RANGE NATIONAL PARK
Explore Cape Range National Park, a lesser-known gem within the World Heritage Area, home to limestone gorges, white sand beaches, and unique arid-land wildlife. Search for rare Black-footed Rock-wallabies, birds of prey, and other native species as you hike gorges and stroll along coral-fringed beaches.
Day 11
SWIM WITH WHALE SHARKS
Head out for an unforgettable day swimming with Whale Sharks in the warm, calm waters of Ningaloo Reef—one of the best places in the world for close encounters with these gentle giants. Whether you swim or observe from the boat, you’ll also enjoy snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs, with chances to spot turtles, rays, dolphins, and more, all guided by expert crews and spotter planes.
Day 12
DEPART EXMOUTH
Fly back to Perth for your international flights home (flights not included)
Exchange numbers and photos and say goodbye to your new friends.
