Join us for Bolivia Salt Flats!  This 8-day itinerary will start and end in La Paz. 12,000 feet above sea level it is the highest capital city in the world. We will explore the moon valley and learn about the ancient history dating back to the Inca time period. Next we’ll journey across Lake Titicaca to Sun Island & Copacabana before we make our way to our 3 day Uyuni Salt Flat experience. We will spend two nights under the stars in the worlds first salt hotel exploring Uyuni during the days and marveling at the sky at night. We’ll finish the trip with one last night in La Paz before we journey home. 

This 8 day itinerary shows off the best of Bolivia.  Every detail is handled, including airport arrival services and transfer, private transportation, unique accommodations and so much more. Your trip host is on-site 24/7 for anything you may need. 

Fly in and out of La Paz Airport (LPB). Flight to/from Uyuni not included but Legit Trips will advise on a group flight time.

All trips are priced as double occupancy. When available, solo supplements may be offered.  If you are traveling solo, it doesn’t mean you need to pay for a solo supplement, we’re happy to pair you with a roommate whenever possible.

After you pay your deposit, you may pay the balance of $1925 anytime up to 90 days prior to trip departure, or we can set up equal monthly installments.  IE: $161/mo x 12 months (August-August). Email us for payment options.

  • 7 nights accommodation – 3 nights in La Paz, 1 night in Sun Island, 2 nights in Uyuni, 1 night in Ojo de Perdiz Desert
  • LA PAZ CITY TOUR & MOON VALLEY (Half day) Including museums of La Paz + Cable Car
  • COPACABANA & SUN ISLAND – visit the Brown Virgin’s Sanctuary, the colorful and busy local market of Copacabana, the archaeological remains of “Pilko Kaina”, the Inca Sun Temple, and journey up the Escalinatas de Yuminda, a traditional Inca staircase.  This will bring you to the so-called fountain of youth, or sacred water.
  • Private boat to/from Copacabana
  •  Visit to the Train Cemetery, the community of Colchani to visit the artisanal salt factory, the majestic salt flat where you can see how the salt is collected and where you can make your perspective or optical illusion photo session, and Incahuasi Island with its incredible giant cacti.
  • Uyuni Salt Flat Stargazing Night Tour
  • Tour of Eduardo Avaroa National Park – Ollagüe volcano viewpoint, Cañapa and Hedionda lagoons, Siloli Desert, and Stone Tree.
  • Green Lagoon, passing through the Salvador Dalí Desert, making stops at the Valley of the Rocks and at the Church of the San Cristóbal community
  • Sol de Mañana Geyser and the Polques hot springs where you can enjoy a restorative bath in the hot spring pools.

Lake Titicaca

Straddling the border between Peru and Bolivia is Lake Titicaca, the highest and largest navigable lake in the world. This freshwater lake sits at 12.5k feet above sea level and by surface area and volume of water, is the largest lake in South America.
