Your journey begins in Bucharest, Romania’s vibrant capital, known as “The Little Paris of the East.” You’ll dive straight into local culture with a festive welcome dinner featuring traditional music, folk dances, and hearty Romanian cuisine. From there, venture north into the storybook landscapes of Transylvania, stopping to explore Peleș Castle—an ornate royal retreat straight out of a fairytale—before settling into the medieval city of Brașov.

Wander through cobblestone streets framed by Gothic architecture, savor regional wines, and soak in the timeless atmosphere that makes this region so captivating. Then comes the moment you’ve been waiting for: a Halloween celebration inside Bran Castle, the legendary home of Count Dracula. Dance the night away among the flickering torches and castle walls that inspired Bram Stoker’s tale—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience you’ll never forget.

Your adventure continues with a day trip to Sighișoara, a UNESCO World Heritage citadel and the actual birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. You’ll explore its colorful streets, medieval towers, and dine in the house where the legend began.

Trip Basics

This trip begins and ends in Bucharest (OTP Airport) and was carefully hand-crafted with the help of our on-the-ground partners in Romania to bring you the very best of Transylvania.

Join us for this 7-day Halloween adventure through Romania, where history and legend intertwine. Explore fairytale castles, stroll through medieval towns, and celebrate Halloween night inside Dracula’s Castle itself!

Transfers & Flight Details

To receive the included airport transfers, flight details must be submitted no later than 30 days before trip departure. After that time, guests will be responsible for arranging their own airport transportation.

Included airport transfers are available only on the official trip arrival and departure dates. If you plan to arrive early or extend your stay, we’re happy to help arrange additional transfers at an extra cost.

Because transfers are scheduled specifically around your submitted flight details, any last-minute flight changes may require a new transfer booking at the guest’s expense.

All trips are priced as double occupancy. A solo supplement may available on this trip (based on availability at time of inquiry) if you’d prefer your own room. If you are traveling solo, it doesn’t mean you need to pay for a solo supplement, we’re happy to pair you with a roommate whenever possible.

This trip is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from Legit Trips. We likely will not have full confirmation until June 2027 (due to the ticketing process for the party at Dracula’s Castle), so please do not buy any airfare until we have confirmed the trip.

More than 120 days prior to the trip: Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person or Legit Trip (limited to one transfer, subject to a $100 rebooking fee). Any additional payments made beyond the deposit are fully refundable.

At 120 days or less prior to the trip: All payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes the deposit and any additional payments made toward the trip; no exceptions or refunds of any kind will be issued.

If this trip is canceled by Legit Trips, your deposit will be refunded in full.

BRASOV

Leave the capital for legendary Transylvania, stopping in Sinaia to tour the fairytale Peleș Castle. Then enjoy a sparkling wine tasting and lunch at the historic Azuga Royal Winery before continuing to medieval Brașov, filled with cobbled streets and Gothic charm.

HALLOWEEN – DRACULA’S CASTLE

Begin with a walking tour of Brașov’s Old Town, then enjoy free time before visiting the legendary Bran Castle for a spine-tingling Halloween Party—music, costumes, and memories to last a lifetime. Return to Brașov for a well-earned rest.
