  • Welcome reception
  • 24/7 on-site trip leader
  • 5 nights accommodation
  • 3 hour city tour of Reykjavik that includes food tastings!
  • Full day South Shore Tour – we’ll stop at Seljarlandsfoss, one of the tallest waterfalls in Iceland where we take a short path that leads behind it so we can see the waterfall from an interesting view and feel the spray and drizzle on your face.  A short drive east is Skogarfoss, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland which offers a spectacular view as you stand on the grassy fields and gaze upon the waterfall and the mountains around it. We continue eastwards to the small town of Vik i Myrdal. Here we will visit black sand beach and go to Dyrholaey cliff which forms an arch into the ocean.  From the cliff we have a magnificent view of Reynisdrangar, strange lava formations that stand out from the sea, as well as the surrounding countryside and Myrdalsjokull glacier from ground level.
  • Glacier walk tour on Sólheimajökull glacier – This  tour takes us safely with an expert glacier guide among the crevasses and glacier sculptures of Svínafellsjökull glacial tongue in Skaftafell nature reserve. It’s a fairly easy to moderate walk with real ice crampons attached to your hiking boots. Includes glacier gear and safety equipment (ice crampons, ice axe, helmets).
  • Full day glacier lagoons, diamond beach, and waterfalls tour- we will visit two glacier lagoons, Fjallsarlon and the famous Jokulsarlon with its icy beach. We’ll see glaciers, black sand beaches and the icebergs up close.
  • Full day golden circle tour – Our journey continues east past the lava fields and to Thingvellir national park, where the Icelandic parliament was established in 930 AD and the Eurasian- and North American tectonic plates meet, which have formed a large crevice in the lava while slowly drifting apart. After a walk around the area we continue onwards to the Geysir area where the enormous geothermal heat in the ground has formed several hot springs. Among them is Geysir, from which the English word geyser takes its meaning and Strokkur, which spouts boiling water 25-30 meters high in the air every 5 minutes or so. From Geysir it’s a short drive to Gullfoss waterfall which cascades 32 meters down a canyon in two steps. Then we’ll have a quick photo stop at Kerid crater lake on the way back to the hotel.
  • Half day Blue Lagoon – Premium entrance tickets include – silica mud mask, towel, first choice of algae mask, bathroom and slippers, sparkling wine at LAVA or non-alcoholic beverage
  • Private car for all excursions and transport from one hotel to the next

Fun Facts About ICELAND

Iceland is the safest country in the world. The country boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the world. For over a decade now, it has always topped the safest countries list.

Vatnajökull is the largest and most voluminous ice cap in Iceland, and the second largest in area in Europe after the Severny Island ice cap of Novaya Zemlya. It is in the south-east of the island, covering approximately 8% of the country.

Save the best for last? Iceland is known as one of the youngest landmasses on the planet and was one of the last places on earth to be settled by humans. Surprisingly, over 1,100 years ago Vikings from Norway discovered Iceland by accident.

Eco Friendly

Iceland was recently ranked one of the eco-friendliest countries in the world and since almost all of the electricity in Iceland is produced using renewable energy sources, it’s easy to see why! The capital city of Reykjavik is working towards a goal of being a carbon-neutral city by 2040.
