All trips are priced based on double occupancy, meaning rooms are shared within our group. If you’re traveling solo, no problem— almost everyone joins or trips solo! We will match you with a roommate!

After you pay your deposit, you may pay the balance anytime up to 90 days prior to trip departure, or we can set up equal monthly installments.  Email us for payment options.

Deposits are non-refundable (but are transferable to another person or Legit Trip). Any additional payments can be refunded if canceled more than 120 days prior to the trip start date.  Deposits may only be transferred one time and incur a $100 rebooking fee. There are no refunds or changes/transfers at 120 days before the trip.

Hi! My name is Samantha, and I’m the Prague-based travel blogger behind @undiscoveredpathhome. I’m a half-Czech, half-American third culture kid who grew up living and traveling abroad. I caught the travel bug at an early age — I was flying before I could walk — and I’ve never really stopped exploring the world. I love to travel because I believe connecting with other cultures makes us better citizens of the world. When we see how other people live and see the world through their eyes, we can understand each other better and develop more empathy, and to me, that’s the most beautiful privilege. So far, I’ve visited nearly 40 countries, many of them multiple times (my record is a whopping 25 visits to New York City!); I started my travel blog to help show people that travel doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating. I want to inspire people to see more of the world, head off the beaten path and have the best experiences while they do so. 
When you travel with me, you are joining inclusive, kind and safe spaces for everyone to experience amazing new adventures, step outside of their comfort zone and meet kind, like-minded people. I know traveling with a bunch of people you’ve never met can be inditimating — and so can making the journey to meet us. But I promise to greet you with a smile and a hug, and by the end of the trip, we’re all going to be new friends texting each other life updates. As a trip leader, I’m a little goofy, a little type A and a little overwhelmingly positive, so expect lots of jokes, long conversations and a whole lot of fun. 

Day 1

ARRIVAL IN MALE

One hour speedboat transfer to Vaavu Atoll for check-in at the affordable luxury hotel, Plumeria Maldives. Guests will have time to unpack and enjoy the beautiful beach before the welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2

MALDIVES

Boat tour to Vaavu Atoll’s most iconic spot, nurse shark point. Here, nurse sharks gather in a pristine bay. Guests can jump in and swim with the harmless sharks or simply enjoy the view. The next stop? Snorkeling with sea turtles.

Day 3

MALDIVES

Spend the day exploring the Maldives’ most beautiful sandbanks, slices of pristine sand and crystalline water in the middle of the ocean. After, a visit to a beautiful coral reef to observe the stunning underwater marine life in the Maldives.

Day 4

MALDIVES

Soak up the sun and Thinadhoo Island’s beautiful tourist beach with a day on the beach, relaxing and enjoying the stunning view. 
Guests can add-on a scuba diving trip, if you wish.

Day 5

MALDIVES

Cruise with dozens of dolphins in Vaavu Atoll, located in a beautiful bay, for a magical experience on the water. Then, hunt for the majestic manta rays in the Maldives. If we get lucky, we will see one!

Day 6

MALDIVES

The Maldives is known for their gentle giants — the whale sharks. Spend the day searching with a skilled crew for these amazing animals; when found, guests can swim alongside whale sharks.

Day 7

MALDIVES

Enjoy the pristine beaches of Thinadhoo with a beach day to relax and rejuvenate prior to departure. The island’s house reef houses plenty of fish for those looking to get in one last snorkel.

DEPARTURE DAY

Transport back to Male International Airport for flights home. Say “see you soon!” to new friends, and don’t forget to share all the amazing memories!
