Get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime Arctic adventure! This 7-day winter wonderland escape takes you from the charming streets of Helsinki to the magical snow-covered landscapes of Lapland. Sleep under the stars in an aurora glass cabin, race through the forest on a snowmobile, mush your own team of huskies and float in a frozen lake under the northern lights. You’ll also visit a reindeer farm and enjoy a traditional sleigh ride through the woods.

Fly in to Helsinki (HEL) and out of Rovanemi (RVN) airport. The earlier you arrive, the more you’ll see of Helsinki. *Domestic flight from HEL to Ivalo (IVL) is NOT included (approx $120 USD)
There will be 2 arrival transfers and 2 departure transfers so be sure to confirm with Legit Trips that your flight works for these scheduled transfers.

We are unable to provide refunds for ANY reason, including last minute family emergencies/illness etc. Please purchase travel insurance to protect yourself in the event you may need to cancel the trip.

 
Visas: US citizens do not need a visa to enter Finland. If you’re not a US citizen, it is your responsibility to check your visa requirements and apply accordingly.

Day 1

ARRIVAL IN HELSINKI

Wander around the city and enjoy the museums and restaurants.

Group dinner (not included) to meet your fellow travelers and trip host/ trip orientation.

Day 2

FLY TO IVALO

We’ll fly all together to Ivalo and transfer to the hotel. (flight not included)

After we’re all checked in, there’s an optional panorama sauna and jacuzzi experience – 50euro.

Day 3

IVALO
Breakfast at the hotel with free time to explore. Morning Two-hour private husky safari in the Lappish nature.

Afternoon free snow tubing at the hotel or optional Crafting in the Arctic experience (must book in advance)

 Evening group dinner at the hotel.

Day 4

IVALO
Morning at leisure.

Afternoon private snowmobile safari.

Day 5

ROVANIEMI

Morning private reindeer farm visit with sleigh ride. Get to know a part of a local way of life! Afternoon transfer to Santa Claus Village.

Evening at leisure to explore the village or the local town.

Day 6

ROVANIEMI

Morning at leisure to explore Santa Claus Village, from feeding the reindeer to a photo with Santa or optional snowshoe adventure – 144euro. Must book with us in advance.

At night we’ll dip into a frozen lake under the Northern Lights with our Aurora Floating adventure.

Day 7

DEPARTURES

This trip ends in Rovaniemi, private airport transfer back to the airport (RVN) based on your flight time. You’ll transfer through Helsinki to catch your flight to the US.  If you want to add a night in Helsinki, we’d be happy to book it for you.
