This custom, private tour creates a full trip around visiting Machu Picchu.  We’ve taken care of every detail and will support you every step of the way- from packing to training to airport transfers and Cusco recommendations.

This trip begins and ends in Cusco (CUZ).  There are often more flight options if you book to Lima (LIM) from your home US city, and then book a domestic jumper from Lima to Cusco separately.

All trips are priced as double occupancy.  If you are traveling solo, it doesn’t mean you need to pay a solo supplement, we’re happy to pair you with a roommate whenever possible. A solo lodging option is available for the hotel nights in Cusco (3) for this trip.

After you pay your deposit, you may pay the balance of $1745 anytime up to 120 days prior to trip departure, or we can set up equal monthly installments. Email us for payment options.

• 4 Nights hotel stay- 3 nights at a 4-star boutique hotel in Cusco walkable to Plaza De Armas, and 1 in Aguas Calientes (for a hot shower before visiting Machu Picchu the next morning)
• 3 Nights on-trek glamping: 1 night in a Sky Dome, 1 night in an Andean Hut, 1 night in a Jungle Dome (cots and pillows provided!)
• Round-trip airport transfers between Cusco airport and hotel
• 5-day, 4-night guided Salkantay Trek with local guides, chefs and porters (includes entry to Machu Picchu citadel and add-on tickets for Huchuy Mountain if desired)
• Half-day, private guided Cusco City Tour:

  Start this half-day tour at Cusco’s main square, which was called Huacaypata (Warriors Square) by the Incas.
  Admire the city’s cathedral that was built between 1560 and 1664 with the red granite stones from the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. The cathedral is without doubt one of the most impressive buildings in Cusco.
  Next, you continue to Koricancha and the Convent of Santo Domingo. Wandering through the streets of what once was the capital of the Inca Empire, you feel like you are traveling through time.
  Then, head to the nearby ruins,  Sacsayhuaman Fortress with its immense temple walls made out of huge stones constructed in a zigzag pattern.

As soon as you put a deposit down for this trip, we begin submitting permits for Machu Picchu specifically with your name and passport information on them. Spots with our trekking operator and permits for Machu Picchu are non-refundable.   Thus, we are not able to honor any refunds or transfers on this particular trip.  Thanks for understanding.
