We’ll start in Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire, before heading into the Sacred Valley to explore ancient ruins and soak in breathtaking landscapes. Then, it’s off to Machu Picchu—one of the most legendary sites in the world—where you’ll arrive in style aboard the luxurious Hiram Bingham train, complete with gourmet meals and Peruvian music.
Back in Cusco, settle into your 5-star accommodations and dive deeper into the culture with a mix of history, local markets, and optional adventures like an ATV ride to Rainbow Mountain and a hands-on cooking class.
Just when you think the trip couldn’t get any better, you can join the 4-day Amazon extension. We’ll fly to Puerto Maldonado and swap the mountains for the jungle, where you’ll stay at the stunning Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica, a luxury eco-lodge. Spend your days trekking through the rainforest, cruising the Madre de Dios River, spotting wildlife, and walking high above the treetops on the Canopy Walkway.

As soon as you put a deposit down for this trip, we begin submitting permits for Machu Picchu specifically with your name and passport information on them. Spots with our trekking operator and permits for Machu Picchu are non-refundable. Thus, we are not able to honor any refunds or transfers of the deposit this particular trip. MACHU PICCHU- AGUAS CALIENTES
Hiram Bingham luxury train to Aguascalientes, Start your experience off with a welcome cocktail. Once onboard, the maître will invite you to a brunch and gourmet lunch.
3 hour tour of Machu Picchu
Day 3
MACHU PICCHU
Early morning visit to Machu Picchu. Bus from Machu
Picchu to Aguas Calientes
Group dinner at the hotel.

Day 4
OLLANTAYTAMBO/SACRED VALLEY
Full day tour of Ollantaytambo with a visit to Maras salt mines, continuing on to Chinchero. Famous for its textiles, we’ll have a weaving demonstration with CTTC, a non-profit organization that promotes the empowerment of weavers. Pachamanca lunch and cooking demonstration afterwards.

Day 5
CUSCO
Cusco City Tour – main square, stunning cathedral, and archaeological sites like Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, where ancient rituals and traditions come to life. Afternoon cooking class with local market visit where we’ll prepare our lunch.

Day 6
RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Full day ATV excursion to Rainbow Mountain. Early morning transport to Japura, located 4,200 meters above sea level. Here, you will be served breakfast then we’ll begin the hour ride up the mountain. Then there is a short 45 minute hike up to the top. Return the same way we can, back to the hotel around 4:30pm

Private transfer will return you to the airport or continue on to the Amazon with us.

Day 1: Journey through jungle trails & cruise along the Madre de Dios River

Day 3: Walk through Amazonian swamplands, explore medicinal plants, discover native palms, and experience the rainforest’s nocturnal wildlife.
