Transfers & Flight Details
To receive the included airport transfers, flight details must be submitted no later than 30 days before trip departure. After that time, guests will be responsible for arranging their own airport transportation.
Included airport transfers are available only on the official trip arrival and departure dates. If you plan to arrive early or extend your stay, we’re happy to help arrange additional transfers at an extra cost.
Because transfers are scheduled specifically around your submitted flight details, any last-minute flight changes may require a new transfer booking at the guest’s expense.

- 7 nights accommodation – 1 night in Kota Kinabalu, 2 nights at Sukau Rainforest Lodge, 2 nights at Borneo Rainforest Lodge, 2 nights at 5* Bunga Raya Island Resort
- Daily breakfast, 5 lunches, 4 dinners
- Visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you’ll learn about the incredible work being done to protect and rehabilitate these gentle creatures. Watch a short film about their journey, then stay overnight nearby on charming wooden boardwalks. The next morning, catch the 10am feeding and meet the young orangutans in the new nursery space. Afterward, head over to the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world’s smallest—and maybe cutest—bear up close.
- In the afternoon, set out on a river cruise—keep an eye out for wildlife and birds as you glide through the jungle in a hybrid-powered boat. That evening, enjoy dinner with river views, followed by a nature talk and slide show with one of the lodge’s expert guides.
- Morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife. After breakfast, proceed for an educational tour along the lodge’s Hornbill Boardwalk with our in-house naturalist. After lunch, join our in-house Orang Utan Talk activity. In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife. Stay overnight at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
- Overland journey on gravel road to Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge. This is the largest protected area of lowland dipterocarp rainforest in Sabah, covering 169 square miles.
- Afternoon Trek: Introduction to the forest through “Nature Trails” and tree top “Canopy Walkway” 300m in length and 26m at the highest point, for a close-up observation of the rainforest
- Morning Jungle Trek : Trek to the Kadazandusun burial site – “Coffin Cliff” before proceed to “View Point” for a bird’s eye view of the area.
- Afternoon Jungle Trek or go for a relaxing session of “tubing” down the Danum River (subject to weather and water level condition)
- Night Walk in search of nocturnal animals.
- Private boat to Bunga Raya Island
- Optional Scuba or Rainforest Discovery at Bunga Raya Island Resort.
- Airport transfer to/from Kota Kinabalu

ISLAND
Covering just over 288,000 square miles, Borneo is the third-biggest island on the planet. Only Greenland and New Guinea are larger.
WILDLIFE
On Borneo there are 100 species which you won’t find anywhere else on Earth. The Bornean orangutan is undoubtedly Borneo’s most famous creature. If you’re a David Attenborough fan, you’ve probably also heard of proboscis monkeys and the Bornean clouded leopard.
Rainforest
Borneo is famous for its rich jungle – but did you know that it’s actually twice as old as the Amazon rainforest? Dating back 130 million years, it’s the oldest rainforest on the planet.
Underwater
The sprawling rainforest might be Borneo’s most famous ecosystem, but this island also has some fantastic underwater life. It is well known for great sealife either snorkeling or scuba diving.

Welcome to Malaysia! Meet and greet by our representative for your transfer to the hotel.
Evening Kota Kinabalu night tour with night markets and a local dinner.

SANDAKAN
Early morning flight to Sandakan. (not included) We’ll start with Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center & Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Center.
After Lunch, we’ll take a river cruise in search of wildlife. Dinner on the riverbank followed & presentation by a naturalist guide.

Free day to explore! You can either choose to relax at the beach or grab a kayak or paddleboard. You can also jump on the rainforest discovery trek for more adventure or sign up to scuba dive!
DAY 8
DEPARTURE DAY
Transport to Kota Kinabalu airport (or add on extra days at the beach!)
