Hi there, I’m Rachel! I’m the creator of Rachel Off Duty, a blog and community aimed at helping women build their careers without compromising on travel. I’m a 9-to-5er, creative marketer, traveler, yogi, blogger, and remote worker that absolutely loves to explore. 

My curiosity for travel started as a baby – I grew up in Hawaii with relatives spread across far-off places (Australia, the Philippines, and Michigan). I took my first international trip as a 6 month-old, my first road trip as a 17 year-old, and my first solo flight as a sophomore in college. Even during my earliest internships, I knew I wanted to find out what it meant to live a crazy, passionate, adventure-filled life without having to put my other ambitions on hold. So after graduating, I set out to do just that. 

I travel with a career to broaden our perspective on the intersection of work and play, and to show other women that it’s possible to live a life filled with adventures big and small, without waiting until you retire. 

I have been dreaming for a long time of hosting a trip with other adventurous individuals, and taking this community to new heights. Here’s to big adventures, and to exploring Morocco together! I can’t wait to meet you!
