Johnny and Bruce
Johnny Pierce is an experienced writer, editor and publisher living in the hills of Northeast Georgia. Along with Bruce, he has led more than 20 small-group experiences in the U.S. and beyond with a focus on natural wonders.
Bruce Gourley is a professional historian, award-winning photographer and editor based in Bozeman, Montana. Among his many published works is the 2022 book, Historic Yellowstone National Park: The Stories behind the World’s First National Park.
Day 1
ARRIVAL IN COPENHAGEN
Arrival at the airport to be met our representative who will transfer you to the hotel.
Copenhagen Classic Canal Tour from Nyhavn followed by 3 course dinner at Restaurant Naervaer

Day 2
COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen City Walking Tour- Stroll medieval Copenhagen, passing Nyhavn, Christiansborg, and Amalienborg. End at Rosenborg Castle to see the Crown Jewels or explore the nearby food market.
3 course dinner at Bryggeriet Apollo

Day 3
COPENHAGEN/OSLO
Enjoy morning at leisure in the city. Transfer Hotel – DFDS pier
Overnight cruise from Copenhagen to Oslo in 2-bed Sea view cabin – dinner on board.

Day 4
OSLO
Breakfast on the boat. Upon arrival we’ll have a city tour of historic landmarks, the Royal Palace, Vigeland Sculpture Park, and more, followed by free time to explore local museums. After, we’ll have a 3 course dinner in a local restaurant

Day 5
OSLO/ SOGNEFJORD
Porters will transfer your luggage to the hotel so you can travel light through the fjords. Enjoy a scenic train ride from Oslo to Myrdal, then board the famous Flåm Railway for a breathtaking journey past waterfalls, mountains, and dramatic landscapes.

Day 6
SOGNEFJORD/BERGEN
Cruise through the stunning UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, surrounded by towering peaks and waterfalls, then continue by bus and train to arrive in beautiful Bergen by evening.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7
BERGEN
Explore Bergen’s charming streets and UNESCO-listed Bryggen on a guided walking tour, then ride the iconic Fløibanen funicular for breathtaking views from Mount Fløyen.

Day 8
COPENHAGEN
Flight Bergen to Copenhagen. Transfer to the hotel.
