Join us for a unique multi city tour of Sri Lanka!  This 10 day itinerary starts and ends in Colombo with a trip around the country including a vintage train ride.  From beautiful landscapes, UNESCO world heritage sites and temples to exploring the cities at night, local food tours, and more. We’ll have a local Sri Lanka guide plus, our fabulous Legit Trips tour leader.

All trips are priced as double occupancy. When available, solo supplements may be offered.  If you are traveling solo, it doesn’t mean you need to pay for a solo supplement, we’re happy to pair you with a roommate whenever possible.

After you pay your deposit, you may pay the balance  anytime up to 90 days prior to trip departure, or we can set up equal monthly installments. Email us for payment options.

Fun Facts About Sri Lanka

World's First

The world's first female prime minister was Sri Lankan. in 1960, Sirimavo Bandaranaike became the sixth Prime Minister of Ceylon.

Adam's Peak

Adam's peak is the most sacred mountain in the country. It stands at 797ft & holds significance in several major religions thanks to the curious depression at its summit, known as the Sri Pada or Sacred Footprint.


Lipton Tea was founded in Sri Lanka, In 1890, Glasgow-born grocer Sir Thomas Lipton purchased 5,500 acres of the Dambatenne Tea Plantation in Ceylon's high country and began exporting it directly to his shops in the UK.


Sri Lanka may once have been physically connected to India. Hindu devotees believe the area between India and Sri Lanka - known as Adams's bridge - was built millions of years ago by Lord Ram and an army of monkeys. Instead, scientists and archaeologists believe it is a natural formation of sand and stone.

Drive to the cultural triangle. Climb the UNESCO Dambulla cave temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the best-preserved cave-temple in Sri Lanka.

Today we will explore Anuradhapura Backroads via bicycle or Tuk-Tuk. Afternoon wildlife discovery drive!
